Lemala Manyara Camp
Lemala Manyara Camp is situated within Lake Manyara national park in northern Tanzania, this fairly high standards luxury mobile camp offers 8 large tents, a main tent with a lounge plus dining area as well as a campfire, set in the middle of the acacia woodland.
The standard daytime game drives are supplemented by walks and game drives at night.
Lemala Manyara Camp is a fantastic facility, simpler but less expensive
Although we tend to tend to spend less time in the Manyara area these days, the high season traffic issues can be largely avoided by staying in this camp since its southerly location makes for relatively low vehicle numbers early morning and late evening.
Lemala Manyara provides a real safari experience in a conventional way from a stunning remote location encompassed by fig trees plus acacia trees with a background of the Rift Valley Escarpment.
The Camp is around one hour drive inside the park towards River Endabash in an area that receives few visitors.
All the spacious, 8 standard tents plus 1 family tent has a large single or a king-size bed with duvets, wooden floors with rugs, solar lighting, and inside bathrooms, flush toilet, safari shower and a dressing area. Each of the tents has a view of Lake Manyara.
Activities at Lemala camp include every day game drives in addition to a number of walks inside the National Park in addition to night drives that aren’t allowed in the majority of other Parks within Tanzania, sundowners and outdoor meals.
Lemala Manyara camp normally forms an important base for excellent safari circuit to witness the annual wildebeest migration.

Additionally there is a wide selection of bird species around this camp for keen bird watchers to view. The Manyara hot springs, easy to get to from this camp, are usually visited by buffaloes and tree climbing lions.
To best benefit from of the spectacular scenery and its location along the shore of the lake, you can take on any of the five available walking trails to explore this part of the national park.
Due to the variety of habitats inside the park Lake Manyara National Park supports not only a huge quantity and diversity of wild animals but birds as well. The park has a variety of tree species including flat topped acacia trees commonly referred to as umbrella trees, sausage trees, baobabs trees plus the yellow fever trees.
How to get to Manyara Lemala Camp
When driving from the tourist city of Arusha in the northern part of the park, it is only three and a half hours drive to this camp. Also, Manyara airstrip is closest to the camp for this e traveling by air.
